This is an excerpt from Jesus’ intercessory prayer for all believers. It’s important to understand that God desires relationship with his children. That’s why he provided salvation, because sinful people need a savior.

In order to be set free from the penalty of sin, which is death, we need cleansing from sin. Faith in the atoning blood of the perfect Lamb of God provides cleansing from sin. The Lamb of God not only died as sacrifice for sin but rose again to life with a transformed perfect body. This is the hope of all believers in the Son of God, that one day we too will have a glorified body like that of Jesus Christ.

It’s not enough to simply know the facts about Jesus. Satan knows about Jesus too. To know God is to have a trusting relationship with him. Invite Jesus to come into your life as Savior and Lord!
